Having the buckles on both ends is nice - you can create easy-to-hold loops on both ends rather than having to grab or wrap one end around your hand while the other is looped. These metal buckles hold very well! Nice material and great construction! Might be nice if longer options were available for taller people (I'm short so I didn't have any issues). You can always combine it with cloth belts or other straps to make it longer though.
